ariel's making ... rosemary meyer lemonade

don't you just love the "summer" weather we're having right now? well, so does the meyer lemon tree in my backyard ... and the rosemary bush is looking pretty happy too. so it's time to make some lemonade!

you'll need a big jar with 1/2 a cup of sugar and a nice amount of lemons, like 5 or 6.

squeeze those babies -- and get all that good pulp out! meyer lemons, which are a cross between lemons and oranges, are super sweet ... so use every bit you can.

once your lemons are all squeezed, add a big sprig of rosemary, crushing it a bit before you put it into the jar -- that'll get its oils moving. add spring water to top the jar off. mix!

ok -- here's the trick -- wait to drink it. the longer it sits the yummier it gets ... although with all this sunshine, you'll be throwing this lemonade back and that jar will be tapped in no time.

cheers dears!

kisses,

ariel
